Dr. Mir earned his PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India and moved to Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA to understand the signaling mechanisms of environmental queues sensed by human pathogen M. tuberculosis. Subsequently, he moved to New York State Department of Health, NY, USA, to pursue the translation mechanism of leaderless RNAs of mycobacterium. Presently Dr. Mir is an Asst.
